PlanetWatch offers a solution in the form of a global network consisting of both air quality sensors and environmentally-conscious individuals. By fostering widespread deployment of sensors, PlanetWatch aims to establish a comprehensive network capable of providing much-needed hyperlocal air quality data on a global scale. Participants in this network are encouraged to install sensors outside their residences or carry them while navigating cities or traveling, enabling the rapid implementation of low-cost, real-time sensing networks that effectively complement existing governmental infrastructure.
